It was my birthday yesterday and in one day, I have grown up another year. Honestly, the feeling sucks. Which is why, right now I can sympathize with Sonam Kapoor all the more.
Sonam Kapoor is a star kid, Bollywood star and a global fashionista. She also happens to be a human who is often frustrated by adult life responsibilities and posts nostalgic throwbacks.
Only that these days, she cannot possibly get over it.
Here was Sonam Kapoor three days ago, done with her adult life complications and posting a cute throwback picture of Baby Sonam.
A day ago, here was Sonam Kapoor again sulking on the fact that she grew up.
“Why did I grow up.”
Same Sonam, same.
And then few posts and hours later, Sonam was back again with an adorable picture of baby Sonam holding a gigantic bear. The caption was too sad, though.
“Small things become big. Winter turns to spring. One thing always changes into another. –Denahi (Brother Bear)”
And I guess we could read a silent “Why”. *Insert two sad emojis*
You know you have really grown up when a clip from your early twenties make way for hashtag throwback.
Sonam Kapoor threw us back to her Masakali days reminiscing herself being “young joyful with no worries in the world”
It’s okay, Sonam . We might not be a star kid, Bollywood star and a global fashionista. But we are humans who know adult life sucks.
Sab theek hojaayega.
