Sonali Bendre Shares First Bald Look On Friendship Day. Gives Heart-warming Message Too

On August 5, the world celebrated Friendship Day. Friends, who are like second family, come in various forms – angels, best friends, soul buddies etc. But, for Sonali Bendre, whose battling cancer, her friends never left her side during her hard time. Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre is getting treated in New York for Metastatic cancer with chemotherapy sessions. The 43-year-old was happy to be with her girl gang, comprising of Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Joshi, on Friendship Day.
The news of Sonali Bendre‘s cancer rattled Bollywood and Sonali’s huge fan-following. She told fans she will be in New York for treatment, as her unfortunate health condition shocked everyone. This is what she wrote on Instagram:
The 43-year-old actress inspired many with her regular powerful posts on social media. When she sported shorter hair, she posted about “challenges” and “victories”.
Although this cruel fate has to be borne by the Sarfarosh actress, she shared how her only son, 12-year-old Ranveer, took to this news like a pillar of strength.
It’s not been easy for filmmaker Goldie Behl, Sonali’s husband as well. After Sonali Bendre’s cancer, he thanked all fans and well-wishers for their love and support.
Thank you all for the love and support for Sonali… she is stable and is following her treatment without any complications. This is a long journey but we have begun positively.🙏
Post Sonali Bendre’s cancer posts, her Bollywood friends have extended their sincere love. Hrithik Roshan, once wrote, “Don’t know who amazes me more, u, him or Goldie.”
And now, Hrthik has once again shown his loyalty, along with Sonali’s BFF’s Sussanne Khan and ‘Swades’ heroine Gayatri Oberoi. The trio spent Friendship Day with Hrithik Roshan in New York City.
The post, shared by Sonali, came with a very heartfelt note as well. It read, “Nowadays I spend far less time getting ready because I don’t have to fuss over my hair!”
What’s interesting is that the actress gave photo credit to Hrithik Roshan, which means he and Suzanne are spending time together. They were last seen on a movie date with sons in Mumbai.
Hrithik’s own sister Sunaina Roshan, was once a survivor of cervical cancer. After getting cancer-free, she wrote a special blog telling how Priyanka Chopra brought her strength and courage.
Meanwhile, during Sonali Bendre’s cancer struggle, celebs like Alia Bhatt, Raveena Tandon, Ekta Kapoor and Farah Khan, have extended their support towards their “pretty” friend.
