Apparently, Indian Army Lieutenant and Rifleman Ravinder Singh Sambyal reportedly lost his life in 2015 while serving the country. He got married in the year 2013 and had a daughter of two years of age during the time of his death. This tragic news of his death shattered the lives of his wife and child.

However, in an interesting turn of events, Neeru Sambyal, wife of the late Lieutenant Ravinder Singh Sambyal, has set an example of remarkable dedication and courage as she has kept her pain aside. Apparently, Neeru Sambyal has mastered her army training and joined the Indian Army as a lieutenant recently. Seemingly, Neeru Sambyal did not let her loss overpower her and decided to pay the most unexpected tribute to her late husband who died serving the country.

As she received the complete support from both her families from the maternal and paternal side during her 49 weeks of Indian Army training, she went to achieve her dreams and became the person we all proud of.

In an interview, Indian Army Lieutenant Neeru Sambyal said:

“My husband was in the infantry. It was really difficult to accept the reality after he got martyred. But for me, my daughter is my inspiration. I never wanted her to feel the absence of her father and wished to fill for both roles, of a father and mother. Being in the army, one has to be mentally strong as there are times when one has to face situations where physical strength won’t matter much.
