Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah posted a tweet while taking a dig at the recent spike in pollution level in the national capital. However, to his utter surprise, he got trolled instead. It all started when the National Conference chief took to Twitter to say, “Heading to Smogistan”, right ahead of his New Delhi visit. This angered Twitteratti to a great extent as they advised him to “better stay put in Kashmir” itself.

The tweet from Abdullah sparked great criticism on Twitter, with many people likening Kashmir to as “stonistan” and “jihadistan” in response to the former chief minister’s tweet. Few Twitter users also advised him to contribute his bit to New Delhi and book share cabs while travelling within the city.
Heading to Smogistan.

Simple yet on-your-face remark!
Better stay put in Kashmir or London. Why to come to Smogistan.

This is not the first time that the former Jammu and Kashmir CM has been dragged into controversies on Twitter. He was, in fact, recently in news for trying to troll Adnan Sami over his Rhythm in Paradise concert in Srinagar.

The ugly spat arose when Abdullah shared an image of empty chairs prior to the start of the concert, inviting the wrath of Sami. This war of words, however, ended with Abdullah getting completely sided away by Sami’s words.
