Which one is the best religion in the whole world? Well, this debate has claimed millions of lives since ages and still doing the same. With so many religious faiths, people often go to extreme means to prove that theirs is the best. What we keep forgetting is that there is one religion that tramples all the others. Yes, it’s humanity. Before being a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, or Jain, we are human beings. This is the story of a Sikh man whose religion is humanity.
For the uninitiated, it’s mandatory for the initiated Sikhs to wear turbans. It was Guru Gobind Singh who made it official that the followers should always don turbans. Religiously it is an embodiment of Sikh teachings but it was also started to promote equality among the members of Sikh community.
Being a part of one of the religious symbols, people follow some rules while wearing turbans. One of them is not removing this headgear in public. However, this Sikh man removed his turban in a public place but people cannot stop showering praises on him.
The incident happened in Jammu and Kashmir where a 20-year-old Sikh man named Manjeet Singh converted his turban into a makeshift bandage to help a lady. The lady was hit by a truck near Awantipora and she started bleeding heavily. Manjeet Singh used his turban to plug the injury of this Muslim lady.
When people started praising his act then the humble Sikh man only had this to say:
“I could not resist using my own turban to plug the wound. I did what anyone else in my place would have done.”
Naturally, netizens were more than happy to support Manjeet’s act and it was well-reflected by their comments:
He didn’t think even once before taking off her turban and plugged the injured leg to stop the blood. “I did what anyone else in my place would have done,” said Manjeet.https://t.co/8dqX414BnX

Sikh males are not allowed by their faith to remove their headgear aka Turban, but some have in efforts to save a life. This is a great sacrifice for them and I am sure God finds it an honorable sacrifice. https://t.co/KF91jaKlXL

In the present world, where religious conflicts are rampant, a story like this certainly proves that religion holds a place below humanity. Don’t you agree? What are your views about this incident? Let us know in the comments.
