Shweta Bachchan Debuts Fashion Line In Star-studded Affair, Gets Targeted For Plagiarism Instead!

Shweta Bachchan Nanda, daughter of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, is the only member of the family who hasn’t forayed into the limelight with a film career. Shweta, a mother of two, has now entered the showbiz with her own fashion line MxS, in association with designer Monisha Jaising. Shweta’s MxS fashion line is cheeky, playful as well as glamorous! This is a far cry from her introvert personality but Shweta has done a good job! She started making waves after she became active on social media recently.

Her first sweet kiss of the limelight was when she shot an exclusive Vogue magazine photo shoot with her mother and daughter.

 

 

Before Shweta’s MxS fashion line, she made her Instagram account public and it gave an insight into her private life – especially her gems, Agastya and Navya Naveli.

Coming to the MxS line, Shweta and Monisha collaborated as they have similar aesthetics. The Nanda bahu said, “I like that Monisha is very easy, her clothes are never trying too hard.”

Shweta’s MxS fashion line was conceptualized after a close friend’s birthday. She said, “I realized it would be a fun to do. It has been such an education working with Monisha.”

Shweta’s MxS fashion line launch was special as the entire Bachchan and Nanda family came together in one frame for a rare photo-op.

Many Bollywood celebs, including Katrina Kaif and sister Isabelle, have showered love on Shweta’s label and were present at the launch event.

However, just a day after Shweta’s MxS fashion line launch, the brand is getting attention for all the wrong reasons!

 

 

Instagram account Diet Sabyaknown for pointing out designer or brand copies and plagiarism, blasted Shweta for copying an ‘airplane mode’ sweatshirt from lesser-known American brand – The Laundry Room.

 

 

Diet Sabya, the sassy fashion watchdog, as they say, is infamously popular for bashing fashion copycats, and MxS is their latest target.
