Introducing Shudu Gram, the world’s first virtual model, whose dark-skin and striking features can make anyone’s head turn. She has even been used by Rihanna’s Fenty beauty line! Shudu Gram is actually a white man’s gift to the real-life black woman.
Shudu was created by 28-year-old amateur photographer Cameron James Wilson. The digital model is inspired by a Barbie doll called ‘Princess of South Africa’. She has over 129k followers on Instagram!

Shudu Gram’s followers initially didn’t realise that she’s not human, but a computer-generated beauty! With her growing popularity, she’s now an Instagram “influencer”.

In her digital debut (March 2018), Shudu was seen wearing high-neck golden choker and matching golden earrings.
The artist repainted Barbie dolls faces and styled them as fashion models. He downloaded Daz 3D, a free program for special-effects, after experimenting with Blender, a 3-D-software program.
Shudu takes after real-life models —her deep sockets eyes, tangering lips and skin tone, all resemble like real humans.
Last but not the least, Shudu’s admirers include many black celebrities like Michael B. Jordan, singer Alicia Keys, Tyra Banks, and fashion’s first supermodel Naomi Campbell.
