In a recent interview during ‘Rock On 2’ promotions, Shraddha Kapoor inadvertently used a “bad word”.

During a Q&A session with fans, Shraddha and Farhan were asked which was the most “chichora” song they had ever heard. Shraddha, it seems, has never heard the term “chichora”. Completely thrown by it, she turned to the host and asked,

Chichora means like a… ghati gaana?

Farhan Akhtar was quick to correct her. He immediately said,

I don’t think that it is a very nice thing to say.

For those of you who don’t know this, “ghati” is a derogatory term used for the natives of the Western Ghats. It is used as a substitute for “down market”, if you will.

As impossible as it may to believe that someone who has spent years in and around Bombay doesn’t know that “ghati” is one of the worst words you can utter about the natives, there it is anyway!

Looks like Shraddha Kapoor is about as politically correct as her father! The apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree, eh?
