In a recent interview with news agency ANI, BJP MP RK Singh said that India should have attacked Pakistan after December 13, 2001, terror strike on Parliament.

Singh who is also BJP’s former Home Secretary further disclosed that after the parliament attack, India had mobilised the troops on the border, but did not act.
He though wished that India should have attacked Parliament at that time so as to make sure that they knew that they had crossed a “red line”.

Singh was responding to the escalating situation between India and Pakistan, after which Indian intelligence agency suspect that Jaish-e Mohammed (JEM) might attack the parliament in response to Indian Army’s surgical strike in PoK.
