Even as Mumbai faced its municipal elections on February 21, columnist Shobhaa De took to Twitter to take a jibe at the Mumbai Police, who were deployed on election duty.
But as always, De didn’t verify her source and once again made a gaffe on social media which got her trolled.
The day started with De taking a dig at Mumbai Police by making a fat joke about the security cover in Mumbai because of the BMC elections.

The joke though didn’t go down well with many, including the Mumbai police, who took to Twitter, to “politely” reply to De’s jibe and point the fact that she just posted a random picture.

Though for change, De tried to take things sportingly, but her “advice” to MP police, didn’t go down well, and Twitterati’s once again started trolling her.
