Talking to host Gaurav Kapur in the show ‘Breakfast with Champions’ Akhtar called India Pakistan’s elder brother.

In the exclusive chat, Shoaib divulged that his country is fun-loving. He said that India should behave like an elder brother and Pakistan like the younger, they should start trade with China and amongst themselves too, and together write the world order.

Other than talking about the tainted Indo-Pak relationship, which he is not very happy about, Akhtar also discussed about the corruption and match-fixing on the cricket field.

Akhtar had recently posted on Twitter his views on the recent spot-fixing scandal in Pakistan Super League, where just a day after the first match of the second edition of the Pakistan Super League, news broke that two Pakistani players Sharjeel Khan and Khaled Latif were suspended as part of an investigation into an organisation attempting to “corrupt” the PSL.
