In the middle of the first ODI against South Africa, Shikhar Dhawan was going smoothly until he got run out. If reports are to be believed, Dhawan’s innings wasย prematurely brought to an end amid a forced run by Kohli. Not to be forgotten, this is the second time when Dhawan got run out when Kohli was at the other end. Shikhar could only makeย 35 runs from 29 balls when India had a target of 270 runs.
Almost miffed with Virat Kohli, Dhawan’s angry reaction could be clearly spotted on the field.ย As the irritated batsman walked through the ground, he gave an exasperated look at Kohli and shook his head.
He was trying to give Kohli a gesture that the run wasn’t there to be taken. Afterwards, in the dressing room, Dhawan poured his frustration to batting coach Sanjay Bangar.
