Delhi recently witnessed the 10th edition of Delhi Pride Parade. Rainbow colors, great spirit, and interesting placards were a treat to watch. One thing that caught everyone’s attention was the placards having marriage proposals written them for one and only, Shashi Tharoor. In India, it’s really difficult to find out intellectual and well-read political reader. Thankfully, our nation still has a handful of them and one of them is Shashi Tharoor.
Tharoor is famous for not mincing his words and expressing his opinions bluntly. Not to forget, Tharoor is one of those who made Twitter a popular platform for expressing views and opinions in India. Tharoor enjoys a huge fan following and it was quite clear at the Pride Parade.
A magazine tweeted a guy’s picture holding a marriage proposal placard for the 61-year-old leader and asked him to have a look at it:

Replying in his own style, Tharoor posted an epic tweet that left people in splits.
Haha! Now if they were only registered to vote in Thiruvananthapuram, it would be even better! https://t.co/kGzj3T1mf9
