India never fails to plagiarize things at best, especially when it comes to movies. The matter has gone too far this time as there is a new case of plagiarism, and that too by a minister of a high stature, Shashi Tharoor is under scrutiny.
Tharoor an Indian politician, was lately challenged by TV journalist Arnab Goswami, regarding the former’s involvement in Sunanda Pushkar’s (Tharoor’s wife) death. Reacting to which Tharoor wrote a heavy weighted tweet questioning Arnab’s credibility as a journalist.
Here is what Tharoor tweeted –
Exasperating farrago of distortions, misrepresentations&outright lies being broadcast by an unprincipled showman masquerading as a journalst
— Shashi Tharoor (@ShashiTharoor) May 8, 2017
The tweet in no time became a matter of discussion, people started an array of memes in their best wittiest ways. However, later it was reported by Free Press Kashmir, that the tweet in-fact was copied from a speech given by Mehdi Hasan, a British political journalist at a debate held at the Oxford Union a few years ago.
“An astonishing set of speeches so far making this case tonight. A mixture of just cherry-picked quotes, facts and figures, self-serving, selective… a farrago of distortions, misrepresentations, misinterpretations, misquotations…,” Hasan said during his arguments.

Seems that twitteratees are not going to spare Tharoor, post they would come to know that the ‘FARRAGO’ WAS PLAGIARIZED!
