It’s a moment of celebration for all the children who were born in the 90s. People who have grown up watching ‘Shaktimaan’ must know his charm. The first ever Indian superhero who fought the evil for us in the 90s, the Indian Clark Kent will be back on television soon. Excited?
Shaktimaan’s “choti choti magar moti baatein” made our childhood awesome and taught us many little things that we now actually appreciate.
According to the sources, Mukesh Khanna, who starred as Shaktimaan is in talks with people to start the show again.
“We are planning the return of Shaktimaan on television and the discussions are going on with few channels. I can’t committ the date but you will get to see it soon. I am working on my look and body for it. I have already lost 8 kgs and will be losing another 8 kilos. I am not trying to get six pack abs. I want to try and match up with the look that I had 15 years back. People relate to me as Shaktimaan and I can’t offer the role to anyone,” said the actor.
So Shaktimaan sir, will Geeta Biswas be there as well or should I ask Gangadhar about this? *wink* If you remember their interactions – LOL
You think he has grown to old to act as Shaktimaan? See his reply on being asked the reason for not selecting a young actor for the role.
I was very young when I played the role of Bhishmapitama in Mahabharat. I feel an actor can’t be restricted due to age. I feel age is just a number. It depends on how you look and if you will be able to pull off the character with full.
Well, not to forget Doctor Jackal. Hope we will be seeing the same doctor this time as well.
Guys just hold your breath and be ready because you soon will be seeing Shaktimaan somersaulting on your televisions.
