Being a celebrity is not an easy job. With fame, success and boundless love of the audience, the risk of being mercilessly trolled by people comes as a baggage. There are those who treat trolling as their favourite pastime. In the world of Twitter, every known face is trolled at some point or the other. Be it movie stars, singers, politicians or socialites, you must have seen that trolls spare none. Like many celebrities in Bollywood, who get trolled more than just often, your favourite Shahid Kapoor and his family have also been targeted.
If you remember, Shahid Kapoor was hounded by internet trolls when he announced the second pregnancy of wife Mira Rajput soon after the couple had their first baby in 2016. The actor and his wife were targeted unnecessarily, which just showed how low trolls can stoop at times.
Also, few days back his wife was shamed for endorsing anti-aging cream. During a recent interaction with Shahid Kapoor, when we asked the actor what he thinks about trolls who target celebrities and their families, he said something that makes so much sense.
“I just feel we live in a time where there are too much noise and too many opinions. I would always choose to view things optimistically than throw negativity out there in the world, because the more you throw, the more comes back to you. I really believe life is like that. I believe in karma and I believe in cycle of life. I believe what you throw back into the Universe will come back to you. So, all the best for all the trolls!”
When asked if he would like to star in a dance-based film, the Padmaavat (2018) actor quipped:
“Would you like to watch just dance for three hours in a film (laughs)? Dancing is something that I would love to do. If I find a script that clicks, then I would definitely do it.”
Also starring Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam, Batti Gul Meter Chalu enters cinemas on September 21, 2018.
