It still warms our hearts to see the champions of cricket from India and Pakistan come together or exchanging small gestures. No matter how much the fans try to beguile the experience of the game in the name of borders and competition, our players, time and again, prove that cricket is the gentlemen’s game.
Shahid Afridi tweeted the sweetest words thanking Virat Kohli for donating his signed bat for The Shahid Afridi Foundation. Afridi called Kohli a friend and a supporter, and showed gratitude for the “kind gesture.”

When Shahid Afridi took retirement from international cricket the Indian cricket team gifted him a no.18 Kohli jersey. The shirt also had a message from team India saying,
To Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you.
The jersey signed by Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Suresh Raina, Ashish Nehra, etc. and the head coach Ravi Shastri collected Rs. 3 lakh at the auction organized by the Shahid Afridi Foundation in the UK. The jersey was gifted to Afridi after a group stage match between the two teams.
