In one of the biggest security operations in recent history, Indian Army killed 12 terrorists in the Valley on April 1. The operations came out as a big blow to terror groups such as Hizbul Mujahideen and the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

In a tweet on April 3, Afridi blasted at the recent clampdown on terrorists in the Kashmir Valley, urging the UN to intervene in the matter. Here is his tweet:

Recently, some pictures of Shahid Afridi went viral in which the player was seen dining with officials of ISI’s top bosses. The pictures were evidently captured on March 27.

In those pictures, Afridi was seen with Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, Director General of Inter-Services Public Agency (ISPR) which is Pakistan Army’s media wing. He was even seen with some ISI agents as well. Earlier on March 25, they all were spotted watching a cricket match together.

Apparently, Afridi tweeted against the Indian forces on April 3, prior to being seen with the ISI officials. The pictures can be a proof that the ISI agency and Pakistan’s army may have used Afridi to spread ill against India.

Indian cricket fraternity had lashed out at Afridi on Twitter for his tweet.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar said: “We have got capable people to manage and run our country. No outsider needs to know or tell us what we need to do.”

In an interview with a leading Indian news channel, when Afridi was asked about his comments on Pakistan’s involvement in Kashmir, he acknowledged Pakistan’s role in spreading terrorism in Kashmir Valley by saying that Pakistan is not there to set up samosa and pakoda stalls. His comments on the situation and involvement with ISI agents can be proofs to his links with the Pakistan’s intelligence agency.
