Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 52nd birthday in an absolute Badshah style. It was a star-studded affair that took place in SRK’s Alibaug farmhouse. From Karan Johar to Alia Bhatt, all close friends and colleagues were invited to the party. It was KJo who kept us informed the whereabouts of the party.
It was a pre-birthday bash, as Shah Rukh had to give his time to media as well as his thousands of fans who gather outside the King’s iconic bungalow located in Bandstand, Bandra – ‘Mannat’.
On his birthday eve, while cutting cake with the media, Shah Rukh told the media,
“Since I am spending my birthday with you guys, then I do not get time for family and friends. So we had a party last night in Alibaug. I know people have come from across the globe and gathered in front of my bungalow, they are bursting crackers which is not a right thing to do in the present time, but I guess their love is more than touching.”
The all-time King of romance also revealed that not only receiving wishes from his fans, he has also received wishes from the other two legendary Khans of Bollywood- Aamir and Salman.
“Aamir is planning to come, he was saying, ‘I will drop in anytime’. I told him to come a little late in the evening so that I can give time to you people as well as him.”
When asked, what gifts he has received yet, SRK said,
“No one has given me anything yaar, but Abram said ‘Happy Birthday, birthday boy!”
But, can you guess what Shah Rukh has wished for on his 52nd birthday?
Shah Rukh has time and again proved that he not only a humble superstar but is also a dedicated family man. For him, his children come first and he has in his various interviews expressed his love for his family. On his 52nd birthday, when media asked the King of Bollywood, what he his birthday wish and what more he desires to achieve, SRK gave a humble reply saying,
“I think with age I have become gentler and that is what I want to achieve. With age, my thought process has changed and now I want my children to be happy and healthy. I just feel gentler towards people; success, the achievement will follow. But now for me, achievement is about how much gentler I could become in life, towards people, how much patience I can have. When I become a gentle person, I will feel like an achiever.”
