Violence between India and Pakistan flared after 40 jawans of Central Reserve Police Force were killed were killed in a terrorist attack. Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror group claimed the responsibility of this horrific attack. Soon after, the Indian Air Force carried out air strikes on terror training camps across the Line of Control. The IAF dropped 1,000 kg bombs on terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen.
Then Pakistan Air Force was detected outside military installations on the Indian side. The alert Indian soldiers chased the infiltrators. That is when Wing Commander Abhinandan shot down an F-16 jet with his MiG 21 Bison. Then he was captured by the Pakistani army but finally released and handed over to India.
In this context, a foreign media recently conducted an interview with Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. What should have been a diplomatic interview, turned out to be a hilarious one that is full of revelation! What did he say? Well, he accidentally hinted that the Pakistani government is in touch with the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) leadership. Previously, he also admitted the fact that the chief of the banned terror organization is ill and is residing in Pakistan.
Wondering how that interview went? Well, here is a snippet of the conversation between the reporter (from BBC) and Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi. The first hiccup came when the reporter asked if the minister is unclear about the fact that JeM is based in Pakistan.
The interviewer stated the fact that JeM has taken responsibility for the Pulwama attack to which Shah Mehmood Qureshi denied stating that there is confusion in that fact!
This is where he spilled the beans when the reporter asked about the confusion.
Well, then the fumbling continued:
