Since a long time now, Twitterati keep getting a glimpse of the love-hate relationship that exists between former cricketer Virender Sehwag and British journalist Piers Morgan. Both have a Twitter history of taking sarcastic digs at each other. This time it is related to the India-England final of the Women’s World Cup.
England defeated India in the final by nine runs and registered their win for a record fourth time, Morgan’s response was the quickest one on Twitter. In a tweet mentioning Virendra Sehwag, he said,
You OK, buddy @virendersehwag? #WWC2017final ๐๐๐

Morgan further added a screenshot of a tweet he shared almost a year back, regarding a bet he placed with Sehwag and asked him to pay a million rupees in charity if England wins a World Cup before India bags another gold at the Olympics. He tweeted saying,
Ahem, @virendersehwag… pay up! pic.twitter.com/oRLPxcEd9z

After such an insulting tweet, we expected a befitting reply from Sehwag. He wrote,
Me and all of India prouder even in this loss than you can ever be mate.We fought well &will only get better & stronger.
Enjoy for a change! https://t.co/Dv1gn2jpWnAdvertisementโ Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) July 23, 2017

Truly, Indians can never let any one take a dig at their pride, especially when an Indian cricket team is concerned.
