Veteran Indian cricketer, Virender Sehwag, has won millions of heart with his strokes on the field and through his words on various social media platforms. Viru Paaji’s Twitter handle is full of witty and sarcastic tweets. And of course, we cannot talk about Sehwag without talking about his out-of-the-box birthday wishes.
However, the cricketer has often got in trouble because of his bold comments over controversies. And this time he has again offended some people and these are the government sector bankers.
All this happened when Sehwag mocked an Umpire by comparing him with the PSU bankers and commented on their working techniques and speed.
Here’s what he tweeted:
Umpires treating Indian batsmen like PSU Bank treat customers. Lunch ke baad aana #INDvSA

There is no doubt saying that government sector bankers make us suffer a lot. While many agreed with what Sehwag said, bankers got offended with his comment. Slamming the cricketer, here’s what they said:
I work in PSU bank. We never ask our customers to come after lunchtime.Advertisement

To this, the cricketer had to explain himself. Sticking to his comment, Sehwag said that government sector bankers do give pain and people who are saying that they don’t do so then they are exceptions.
Bura na maan bhai. Tu exception hai. Most Sarkaari banks , infact most sarkaari departments don’t care for the common man. The attitude is like Maai Baap , as if they are doing a favour if they do their job. https://t.co/CRfkuSQCEb
