Savji Dholakia’s gifts to his deserving employees deserve an applause itself. Any employee working for Surat’s Hare Krishna Exporters will be aware of Savji Dholakia’s lavish gifts. After all, the perks (which are exuberant according to Indian standards) is what the owner of the company is known for. While switching job is one of the easiest tasks, in Hare Krishna Exporters, workers stick around for ages and are ferociously loyal. And what they get, exactly? Expensive flats, diamond jewelry, luxury cars and fully-covered insurance (to name a few!).
Well, to receive Savji Dholakia‘s gifts, you have to be loyal to him and have a decorated performance record to lap up in those luxuries.
This isn’t the first time Savji Dholakia’s gifts have come in news. The diamond baron, promoter of Rs 6,000 crore worth company, has always showered deserving employees!
In 2014, 300-odd ‘deserving’ employees received cars as part of Savji Dholakia’s gifts. Isn’t he the best boss already?
Cut to 2018, the generous employer has awarded three staffers for their exemplary service by gifting them each a Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV, worth Rs 1 crore!
After completing 25 years of service, Nilesh Jada (40), Mukesh Chandpara (38) and Mahesh Chandpara (43) were given this pleasant surprise by the company.
Madhya Pradesh Governor and former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel handed over the car keys to the trio in Surat.
Dholakia told The Times Of India, “These three had joined us as teens. They learned to cut diamonds and polish it and now they are not only experts but most senior and one of the most trusted people of our country.”
Great leaders have great wisdom. According to Savji, “I decided to gift them these cars as our gratitude to them.”
On the same occasion, the company also handed over Rs1 crore insurance cheques to the family members who have lost their bread-winners during their work here.
This is not the first time when employees were spoilt by Savji Dholakia. 500 flats, 525 pieces of diamond jewelry, 1,260 cars and 400 flats to the deserving staff is just ‘normal’ for the doting employer!
