Satvat Jagwani, who is the son of a doctor couple, has secured the top spot in IIT-JEE (Advanced) examinations this year, reports Hindustan Times.
Satvat has scored 469 out of 504. He appeared in the examination from the IIT-Kanpur zone. He took coaching in Kota.
Having a dream of pursuing computer science from IIT-Mumbai, Satvat said:
“I am extremely happy. I was confident about securing a rank in the IIT-JEE exams. Though I did not have a fixed routine, whenever I studied I did so with full concentration.”
Talking about his hobbies, a student of Nalanda Public Senior Secondary School, Satvat said he loves playing Sudoku and reading books. Physics and mathematics are his favorite subjects.
Satvat, who had to shuttle between Kota and Satna for two years to attend his school as well as coaching classes, said he attributed his success to his parents and teachers.
