It seems like #MeToo movement is gaining momentum with each passing day in India. While the movement in the country has so far exposed some of the biggest names in Bollywood, we wonder how many more would come out in the days to come. Needless to mention, Sajid Khan, Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Vikas Bahl, T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar, model Zulfi Syed, Luv Ranjan, and many other bigwigs have been named in the controversy so far.

Well, in the latest controversy on the #MeToo movement, celebrity hair-stylist Sapna Bhavnani has threatened to expose Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. She, however, didn’t accuse Big B of any sexual misconduct on her but said she know many that the actor has done.

After being criticized for staying mum on the movement, Amitabh Bachchan reportedly broke his silence on the matter and said:

“No woman should ever be subjected to any kind of misbehaviour, or disorderly conduct; especially at her work place. Such acts should immediately be brought to the notice of concerned authorities, and corrective measures be taken, either through filing complaints or a recourse to law.”
“Discipline and civic, social and moral curriculums, should be adopted at a very early educational level. Women children and the weaker sections of our society are the most vulnerable. They need to be under special protective care. It has been most heartening to see women representations in most work vocations, on the increase in our country. It would be an unrepairable blemish if we are not able to provide them the welcome they deserve and the dignity of the security of their presence.”

Well, reacting to a post which stated that Amitabh has extended his support towards the #MeToo movement, Sapna Bhavnani lashed out at the superstar for his statement on the movement. She took to Twitter and wrote,

Needless to mention, India’s #MeToo movement began with Tanushree Dutta’s claim that Nana Patekar harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss. Her claim received massive uproar on social media and inside the film circuit. Post her revelation, a number of allegations and charges have been leveled against some of the biggest names of the industry. Meanwhile, whatever and whoever it may be, the truth has to be revealed.
