From losing his mother to failed marriages to severe drug addiction to serious court cases, Sanjay Dutt has had a traumatic life. But despite all this, today, he stands tall like a fighter.
He was suffered from substance abuse for more than 12 years, and calls it the “worst thing in the world”. Also, he admitted that there are no drugs in the world that he hasn’t tried.
Leaving all that behind, now, he is on a mission to save the youth from drug addiction by launching drug de-addiction centers across India.
The de-addiction centers will be set up after government approvals, and Dutt claims that he is in talks with the government and the approvals are yet to come through.
He also said that all details will be finalized once the necessary permissions are cleared. The de-addiction centers plan will offer effective facilities and counseling.
While the actor was suffering from drug problems, he could opt for expensive de-addiction treatment and rehab in America as his family could afford it. But seeing the enormity of this problem nowadays, Dutt realized that most people in India don’t have the right guidance and money for treatment, and thus creating rehab centers will be the right step to eradicate this problem.
