Sanju is doing wonders at the box office. Rajkumar Hirani’s idea of making Sanjay Dutt’s biopic became a super-duper hit. The film not only gave the audience a chance to know the truth behind allegations that were put on the actor after 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts but also taught people about true friendship. The entire star cast of the film is winning accolades. The film has become Ranbir’s one of the best works. But there is one more actor who is getting a lot of appreciation for his role. Yes, we are talking about Vicky Kaushal!

Vicky played the role of Sanjay’s best friend Kamli. Kamli and Sanju’s friendship experienced all sort of emotional ups and downs. His role managed to make the audience cry several times and that made people love him even more.

Kaushal’s role in the film is so strong that it moved one and all. One of those who cried after watching the movie is none other Sanju baba himself. The actor couldn’t control his emotions and nostalgia took over. The movie made him relive his life.

Impressed by Vicky Kaushal’s exceptional acting skills and the power he has shown on the screen, the actor couldn’t control himself from saying good things about him.

Kamli’s role reminded the actor of his friend and how he stood by him like a pillar of strength. Appreciating Vicky for his outstanding performance, Dutt said in an interview,

‘I got really emotional with your performance. You have truly portrayed the meaning of friendship, and your act is accurate when I think of the friends I have had. Puttar, tune dil jeet liya (Son, you have won my heart).’

This must be one of the best compliments the actor would have ever got. Do you think someone else could have played Kamli’s role better than Vicky?
