On June 2, Indian Football team captain Sunil Chhetri posted a video on is social media account appealing the citizens to come forward and support the Indian team by watching their matches in the stadium.
His heartfelt appeal has since gone viral with many celebrities and sports stars since then posting their own videos to show support to Sunil Chhetri and urging the fans to go and watch the Blue Tigers play at Mumbai Football Arena.
This is nothing but a small plea from me to you. Take out a little time and give me a listen. pic.twitter.com/fcOA3qPH8i

The latest sports star to show support to Sunil Chhetri’s initiative is our very own tennis sensation Sania Mirza who on June 3 not only re-tweeted Chhetri’s viral video but also asked him for tickets to their next match on June 4.
Quick to response, Chhetri immediately agreed to her request but only on one condition – that she would get him few tickets when she plays next.
Only if you promise to sort me out with some when you're playing next!

His response not only had his fans in splits, few were soon trolling Mirza for asking a free ticket.

Since his appeal, the fans have responded positively to his request and have promised to be present in huge number for India’s next match.
India takes on Kenya on June 4, 2018 for their next match in the ongoing Intercontinental Cup 2018.
This game would already be special for Chhetri as it would be his 100th appearance for the Indian national team.
