Perhaps you know by now that iPhone X will be released next month. Surprisingly, Apple rival Samsung will also win if iPhone X becomes a hit. It is predicted that Samsung will make around $110 (Rs.7,000 approximately) on each phone sold.
The reason for this is the business bond between the two giant mobile phone makers in the world.
Samsung Group has designed the OLED display, NAND flash, and DRAM chips for the iPhone X. It’s currently the only company capable of manufacturing these items at the volume that Apple requires. Hence, Apple had no choice but to buy the parts from Samsung.
Samsung will profit around $4 billion (Rs.261 billion) more from selling parts to Apple than it did from sales of its own phone.
It seems like a win-win situation for Samsung, a company that was facing major wrath from consumers around the world since last year.
