Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has followed a tradition to release his movies on Eid ever since the success of Wanted in 2009. Today we know, a film just needs his name attached to it to become a box-office hit. Since he has delivered only megahit films at the box-office over the last decade, Salman’s this Eid release Race 3 was no exception. Race 3 entered the Rs 100 crore club only after the third day of its theatrical run. Reportedly, Salman Khan was approached by Yash Raj Films for Dhoom 4, the fourth film of the Dhoom franchise.

Well, after Aamir Khan’s addition to Dhoom 3, Salman Khan was all set to join Dhoom 4 as the antagonist of the film. A few media reports have also revealed a bit about the type of character Salman Khan will play in the film,

A reference poster has also been made. Salman Khan’s character is likely to have long hair and a scar on his face. He won’t play a negative character. His part will be like Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan’s characters in the previous installments.”

However, it seems like all is not well for Salman Khan in Dhoom 4 since there is a buzz about the superstar quitting the film. Well, according to media reports, the Ready actor has demanded some unexpected changes in the cast of the film. Apparently, the filmmakers of Dhoom 4 have not accepted his demands to change the cast and shockingly, he has walked out of the film.

While the Yash Raj Films is currently working on the production of Thugs of Hindostan featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif with the director Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom 4 is slated to release in the year 2020. Reportedly, the work on Dhoom 4 has not started yet since Aditya Chopra has plans to make an official announcement once the paperwork is finally done. The cast is still being finalized by the filmmakers.

Interestingly, Salman Khan is currently working for his much-awaited project Bharat co-starring Katrina Kaif and Disha Patani. Mumbai schedule of the film is already done and now the team has headed to European country Malta for the second schedule of the film.
