Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has received a legal notice from the Interpol regarding his involvement in a wild boar hunting case in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian government had directed the Interpol to record the actor’s statement on the same matter. Acting on Interpol’s notice, the Mumbai Police have reportedly recorded Saif’s statement on the said case.

An agent had allegedly organized a wild boar hunting for Saif Ali Khan without the requisite permits and license. As per the rules of hunting in Bulgaria, foreigners are required to hold a hunting license from their own country or pass a test in Bulgaria to get a license.

However, in India, it is not possible to get a hunting license as the practice itself is banned under the Wildlife Protection Act.

Saif Ali Khan’s agent has been booked by the Bulgarian police in the matter and the Interpol has sought details on the case from the actor.

According to reports, after the communication from the Interpol was received, the Mumbai crime branch was asked to record the actor’s statement on the matter. Acting on Interpol’s notice, a team of the Mumbai crime branch from the Bandra unit visited the actor’s residence and recorded his statement as a witness.

Meanwhile, after the actor received a legal warrant from the Interpol, netizens trolled him for being involved in yet another hunting case. See how people reacted to the news:

Hunting is a tradition of Pataudi family!

Is it true that Saif has a thing for hunting?

Is it true, Saif, that it is not Salman but you who killed blackbucks in Jodhpur?

LOL!

Really?

Are you sure?

Karma?

Haha!

Needless to mention, in April, the actor was summoned to court for the high-profile blackbuck poaching case involving fellow actor Salman Khan, the main accused, and Tabu, Neelam, and others as witnesses of the incident while shooting for their 1998 family drama ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’
