Sagarika Ghose has been trolled for a number of reasons in the past, but today, the case is different and serious. Her one insensitive tweet has created an outrage on the internet, and people are even filing a FIR for it.
She raised an alarm saying that mobs are hunting and killing Muslims across India. This irresponsible news has no connection with the reality. Another example of sensational journalism?
This is what she tweeted,
Though she deleted her tweet after some time, but the damage was done. The hell broke loose on Twitter, and she was rightly bashed for hurting the sentiments of the people.
Have deleted my tweet on attacks on Muslims & apologise if sentiments were hurt. However I remain a vigilant observer of communal violence..

For people, an apology was just not enough.
@sagarikaghose U can’t go just by apologising!!I am going to lodge FIR here in local police station!!Just talking to my lawyer and then will do it!! pic.twitter.com/UzkzhRnkRz

@sagarikaghose It has damaged India’s image abroad and no amount of apology can offset this. You and your husband do this trick of shoot and scoot, often.
