When it comes to Indian web series on Netflix, Sacred Games is the first name that pops in our mind. Thanks to the kind of story the makers of the Sacred Games came up with. Not only the makers, but the actors did a brilliant job too. Just when fans stopped binge-watching the series and got over numerous Sacred Games Memes, Netflix India announced the second season of the series. They delivered the good news by sharing a video on their official Twitter account. Yes! Sacred Games Season 2 is finally happening and we can’t keep calm!
The video was shared on Netflix India’s official Twitter handle. It’s interesting to note that no footage of the show was revealed. The video, however, implied that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character Ganesh Gaitonde could be making a return. In the epic video, one can find the mandala spinning around which kept coming back again and again in Season 1.
At the end of the video, the mandala stops and the new design for the second season unveils. Take a look at the video below:

Through the voice over in the video, one can figure out several characters from ‘Sacred Games’ saying their own dialogues. The character of Ganesh Gaitonde, who died in the first episode of season 1 could be heard saying – Do you believe in God?
In Season 1 that had eight episodes, the story revolved around Gaitonde’s life and how he finally died.
In season 1, Inspector Sartaj Singh (played by Saif Ali Khan) discovers himself in a race against time to counter-blow what could be the worst-ever terror attack on Mumbai. While it is believed that the role of the godman played by Pankaj Tripathi would be much in the highlight in season 2.
Let us tell you that almost one-third of Vikram Chandra’s source novel has remained unexplored in season one and therefore we will be able to get answers to all our questions in the coming season. Stay tuned for more updates on Sacred Games Season 2.
