Extending a warm gesture to all Rio Olympics achievers, former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on August 28 presented Rio medalists PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik, along with gymnast Dipa Karmakar and badminton coach Pullela Gopichand a BMW car.
Tendulkar had also presented a similar car to London Olympics Bronze medalist Saina Nehwal back in 2012 after she became first Indian female badminton player to win an Olympic medal.
Tendulkar was the Goodwill Ambassador of the Indian team at Rio Olympics and had even gone to Rio to extend his support to the Indian Olympic contingent.
He handed over the car keys at a function at Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad and encouraged them to do even better in the coming years.
