Rudra Pratap Singh is one of the known Indian cricket players. He has played 14 tests matches, 58 ODIs and 10 T20Is in his international career and has an important role in the Indian victory of ICC World Twenty20 triumph in 2007. During the Ranji Trophy final between Gujarat and Mumbai, RP Singh even scalped his 300th First-class wicket.
Rudra Pratap Singh has a decent fan following. His skills and capabilities on the field have gathered love from his fans. But, looks as if RP Singh does not bother about his fans much. His harsh behaviour with a fan is making headlines these days. The saddest part is, RP Singh did this with a kid!
This incident took place in Holkar Stadium, RP Singh took the smartphone of a fan while fielding on the boundary line and threw it away. The video went viral as people didn’t like RP Singh’s rude behaviour that too with a kid who was just asking RP Singh for a selfie.
It was the 4th day of the match between Mumbai and Gujarat when this incident happened. RP Singh’s little fan was just trying to convince him for a selfie and cheering him up by saying,
“photo please, ek selfie lelo, ab tumhe Gujarat ko support karna padhega.”
Here is what exactly happened…
It has also been reported that a day before this incident Rudra Pratap Singh also showed his middle finger to someone in the audience. RP Singh should understand that it’s his fans who are loving his talent and giving him fame. Such rude behaviour can give him publicity but in a negative sense. This negative publicity can also make him lose the handful of fans he has.
