Recently, India clinched a six-run win in the third game to notch up its first-ever Twenty20 series victory over New Zealand. Though the New Zealand team must have been hoping to score a big win, sadly they were not able to do so. And surely, the defeat must have been a really bad experience for the entire team.
As the team was preparing to leave India, New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor shared something unusual yet hilarious on his official Instagram account which left many wondering.
But before this, let us remind you of how former team India player Virendra Sehwag pulled Ross’s leg and tweeted everything in Hindi for him. Here is the proof!

To this Ross replied in an epic way. He shared a picture on Instagram with his teammate Ish Sodhi and staff member Dev, captioning it, “As always India it was a pleasure. FYI – the two responsible for helping me with banter with @virendersehwag are here in this photo, thanks, Dev and @ic3_odi, signing off with one last message: Dhullai aur Silaai Anne waale samay mein jaari rahegi ☺️#India #indvnz #Mumbai #darji.”

This was the help Ross received from his co-player and the Indian origin staff member and learned a few sentences in Hindi, just to give an apt reply to Virendra Sehwag’s tweets.
This seems to be a well-curated answer by the cricketer. It left many in praise for Ross as he almost nailed his Hindi (only for sarcastic social media replies).
The reply is a clear indication and a good example of how players from two different countries should keep up the spirit of the game and take sarcasm in a healthy way. Ross truly must have won many hearts in India by now, what if the New Zealand team lost the game to us.
