Rishi Kapoor Thrashes Young Actors For Skipping Vinod Khanna’s Funeral In His Own Way

Indian film industry lost a legend on 27 April, 2017, when Vinod Khanna took his last breath. The actor died at 70 after battling cancer for a long time.


Actor/politician Vinod Khanna was regarded as one of the most handsome actors of his time. Friends, celebrities, politicians, fans and his well-wishers expressed their grief by posting their messages on Twitter.

Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Gulzar, Randeep Hooda, and many politicians attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral.


Rishi Kapoor, who is one of those stars who has worked with Vinod Khanna in numerous movies, posted an old picture with Vinod Khanna on Twitter to express his loss.

Rishi Kapoor has always been vocal about his opinion. Soon after Vinod Khanna’s funeral, Rishi Kapoor vented his anger on Twitter and slammed the stars of this generation for not attending Vinod Khanna’s funeral.


He called them chamchas and said that everyone had time to attend Priyanka Chopra’s homecoming party the other night but none of them appeared at such grieving moment.

Actor’s son and one of the most prominent young Bollywood star, Ranbir Kapoor, was also not spotted at the funeral. Clarifying his son’s absence, the disheartened Kapoor wrote,
