Koffee With Karan, is a popular talk show, that is well known for director-producer Karan Johar’s spicy conversations with his guests, their juicy gossip over coffee and celebs coming out in their best attire. During the show, Karan always try to make sure that his guests spill some of the controversial beans. Recently, young Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, came to the show, and spoke about women and made alleged sexist comments. In turn they got heavily slammed on social media. The heat of the slamming has also reached the BCCI and they got suspended. After this, it seems like social media has found another guest on the KWK who is facing similar slamming. Now, Ranveer’s sexist comments are facing flak on social media.
The show featured Band Baaja Barat stars Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma. Take a look at the still of their appearance at the show.
During this particular episode, Ranveer is seen making sexist remarks about the leading film actress and Karan is seen doing nothing but laughing. Look at the clip in which Ranveer said that he became a child to a boy, watching Kareena swim!
What did Ranveer mean by “I went from child to boy while watching Kareena swim?” 💦 pic.twitter.com/muAx3jZujF

In another video from the same episode, Ranveer said to Anushka, “You want your ass pinched? I am right here.” In her reply, Anushka asked him to not talk to her like that.
“You want your ass pinched? I’m right here” IS THIS YOUR HERO? Also look at how Kjo is laughing. BOLLYWOOD IS FULL OF SCUMS pic.twitter.com/nZbEWiTlp8

Twitterati found the remarks sexist and cannot believe that the show aired at that time when the Hardik episode suffered the heat.
Looks like Gully boy is Hardik Pandya’s biopic played by Ranveer. Bcos Hardick Pandya also came from slum background and went on to become sasta rapper.

In times of social media, when nothing can be hidden such sexist and derogatory comments easily come in the scrutiny of public, whereas back in time they were ‘okay’. What do you think about this?
