Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant has made a bizarre request to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She asked him to ban ceiling fans from all homes across India. Why?
Rakhi thinks that banning ceiling fans will save “many daughters and daughters-in-law” who are committing suicide.
At a press conference Sawant called a ‘Sradhanjali’ for actress Pratyusha Bannerjee, she demanded Rs.5 crore in compensation for the actress’ family.
She then moved on to more ‘important’ issue which was banning of ceiling fans.
According to Rakhi the ban is more important than chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’.
As if the demand in itself was not weird enough, the drama queen held a small ceiling fan in her hand while urging the people to use a table fan or an air conditioner instead. She said:
“Whoever loves their daughter, I appeal to them to remove fans from their homes. Instead keep a table fan or an AC.”
Have a look at the logic of Rakhi Sawant and go ROFL:
No, this is not a ceiling fan. It is our reaction.
