Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao is known for his extraordinary acting and exceptional film choices. We have already seen him giving the best of films to Bollywood with ‘Newton‘, ‘Trapped‘ and ‘Shahid‘. With splendid acting skills and National Award-winning performance, Rajkummar Rao is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. Role after role, movie after movie, the actor has proved his talent with finesse and ease.
Well, Rajkummar Rao is indeed a hottie!
From charming the audience through his mainstream roles in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ to his strong acting in parallel cinema like ‘Shahid’, the actor has truly come a long way. He has always been in the news for all the ‘good’ films that he has done. But apparently, this time Rajkummar Rao has caught the attention of the social media for a not-so-good reason. Yes! You read that right. It seems like the netizens are not happy with the actor and are brutally trolling him.
‘Veere Di Wedding‘ is receiving quite negative responses from the audience for wrongly portraying the idea of feminism and various other reasons. But interestingly, Rajkummar Rao seemed to have liked the film after watching it. Later, he took it to his Twitter account to congratulate the cast of ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
Here’s a poster of ‘Veere Di Wedding’:
In his tweet, the actor said that ‘he thoroughly enjoyed the film and the film deserves all the love that it is getting’. Take a look at Rajkummar Rao’s tweet:
Saw #VeereDeWedding. Thoroughly enjoyed this fun roller coaster ride. Deserves all the luv & adulation it’s been getting. More power to all you Veeres. Congratulations @AnilKapoor @ektaravikapoor @sonamakapoor #Kareena #Rhea @ReallySwara @ShikhaTalsania #ShashankaGhosh.

Sadly, the tweet was not taken well by the social media users and they trolled the National Award winning actor left, right and center. While many tweets were doubting his choice of movies, there were many tweets that were slamming the movie all over again. Furthermore, netizens were hilariously suggesting Rajkummar to watch ‘Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran‘ for a better cinematic experience than the movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’.
Take a look at some of the negative responses to Rajkummar Rao’s tweet:
People are asking him to watch ‘Parmanu’ rather than ‘VDW’:
Ek baar Parmanu dekho ..!! Pata lagega movie kise khete haii

You should watch Pokhran too. Yah, we use to prefer vulgar & nudity first. Pokhran is based on our India’s true story but who cares. We just want sex & nudity.

This is coming from someone who is admired for his rock solid performance and strong story.#VeereDiWeddingreview it neither had story nor anybody put effort to perform.
Only @vyas_sumeet & Manoj Pahwa seemed to be honest with their performance.

This is not correct. At least appreciate good movie and comment to wrong things. Veere di wedding is really not good. Tried to copy the aspect of Freidship like 3 idiots, Dil chahta Hai and jindagi milengi na dubara. But not able to match from anywhere only full of nonsense.

And some of them abused the actor and called him a ‘sell-out’:

One of the tweets read that he is seeking attention of the Bollywood ‘fools’ with his tweet:
Because he is just trying to get attention from Bollywood fools.

Well, what would you like to comment on the same?
