Sania Mirza is the queen both on and off the court because when it comes to her self-respect and dignity, she is prepared with her ace to overthrow journalists at one go.
Recently, she was interviewed by Rajdeep Sardesai, ‘India Today’ consulting editor, as she released her autobiography ‘Ace Against Odds’, where she writes about her inside journey in tennis and beyond.
Rajdeep Sardesai, being the diplomatic journalist he is, mouthed a quite disrespectful question to Sania, asking her:
“Amidst all the celebrityhood, when is Sania going to settle down? Is it going to be in Dubai? Is it going to be in any other country? What about motherhood… building a family… I don’t see all that in the book, it seems like you don’t want to retire just yet to settle down”.
To which Sania replied:
“That’s the question I face all the time as a woman, that all women have to face — the first is marriage and then it’s motherhood. Unfortunately, that’s when we’re settled, and no matter how many Wimbledons we win or number ones in the world we become, we don’t become settled. But eventually, it will happen, not right now. And when it does happen I’ll be the first one to tell everybody when I plan to do that”.
Hearing Sania’s answer, trolling was meant to happen and Rajdeep Sardesai was rightly victimized here:

But Twinkle Khanna’s tweet was unparalleled and truly stated the aunty mania that goes on in every Indian home:
Like the embarrassing aunt we all had who pestered us about 'settling down'-I guess the nation has found a new bua https://t.co/NI3h73ItoW

As always, she sarcastically slayed it.
