Did you check out the new logo of Rajasthan tourism? No? Well, here it is:
It is a very creative optical illusion of sorts presenting both the popular image of a typical Rajasthani man and the camel – common to Rajasthan. In case you missed noticing either, check it out again:
The camel silhouette forms the moustache that many Rajasthani men proudly wear. The logo is in line with their new tag line: ‘Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye’. The previous slogan was ‘Padharo Mahro Des‘.
A video of the logo unveiling was released on YouTube. The vistas of the state have been presented in sand art form.
We see the folk drums quintessential to Rajasthan…
…metamorphosing into a fort.
And this dancing girl in a step-well, both unique to Rajasthan.
But the logo is not the only beautiful thing that carries the Rajasthan government’s drive to further promote tourism in the state. Besides a totally refurbished official website, some really creative videos have been shot to show what a tourist might come across in the state.
You get to see this breathtaking view of the Kumbhalgarh Fort.
And this hot air balloon festival.
And this vista from Kota.
One of the videos points at the ‘jugaad’ technology that one easily spots in India.
