Though the biggest entertainment show of India is over, the IPL fever is still on. To carry on the frenzy, different franchises are using their social media handles to send out notes of thanks to their fans and supporters. Rajasthan Royals is no stranger to this practice. Throughout the entire period of IPL 2018, they shared different kinds of posts but their latest one contains a glaring mistake.
This team took to Twitter to thank everyone associated with IPL. Along with that, they also posted an image of the map of India. That is where they went wrong! How? Well, they posted a wrong image.
However, before knowing what’s wrong with the image they posted, let’s refresh your memory by showing you a map of our country as published by Survey of India. In case, geography isn’t your forte.
Now, check out the image posted by the official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals.
See the mistake? If you are still wondering, take a look at the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Does it seem flipped?
In reality, the post has omitted Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or POK region that is officially a part of the map published by the Indian government. As soon as they realized their mistake or willful omission, they rectified it by posting a new image. Here’s the tweet:
A big shout-out and thank you to @IPL for another energetic and sensational season! 👏
Look forward to several more seasons to come! 😎#HallaBol #JazbaForever #VIVOIPL pic.twitter.com/zDD7hHcTlJ

Well, that’s certainly embarrassing for the franchise! It’s a good thing they deleted the image as a wrong representation of Indian map could land the violator in jail along with a maximum fine of Rs 100 Cr.
Phew! It seems they just dodged a bullet!
