It was a dream come true for Mantsha Ibrahim Sheth, a class 10 student of Delhi Public School, Bharuch, south Gujarat. During a road show in the state, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi accepted her request for a selfie.

Mantsha was following Rahul Gandhi’s convoy from Mohammedpura from where he entered Bharuch. Soon after Gandhi’s convoy entered Kasak Circle area, the girl waved at Rahul and requested for a selfie. Rahul agreed and she climbed his van, got close to him and clicked selfies even as SPG staff looked on.
“I was following him for quite a long time during the road show. He gave me flowers and I asked him can I take selfie with him, to which he agreed,” the girl told media agencies.
The Congress scion was also seen helping her deboard the van and even shook hands with her. She also conveyed her best wishes for the Gujarat elections.

The girl has taken a day off from her school after taking permission from her father, Ibrahim. Mantsha’s family are staunch Congress supporters. Her wish is to become a pilot later in life.
Rahul Gandhi who is holding rallies in poll-bound Gujarat had earlier took potshots at Modi’s Make in India and widespread unemployment, and said that every time you take a selfie, a Chinese youth gets employment.
The Congress leader had blamed the ruling BJP for not solving Gujarat’s problem of unemployment.
