In the controversy over comedian Tanmay Bhat’s ‘Sachin v/s Lata Civil War’ video, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has filed a complaint against him.
Further, Shiv Sena leader Neelam Gorhe has written to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to take stringent action against those behind the video who supposedly have ‘deranged mentality’. Mumbai police is probing the matter.

ACP Yashwant Pathak, Cyber crime cell, told ANI they have contacted Google,Facebook and Youtube to block Tanmay Bhat’s video and also find out its IP address.
Bhat posted two videos on May 26 using Snapchat’s features imitating Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar. The videos showed them fighting over whether Virat Kohli is a great cricketer or not.
While some defended Tanmay, others including actors Anupam Kher, Riteish Deshmukh and Celina Jaitly criticised him for his ‘insulting’ humour.
However, Bhat remained cool like always.
