The ‘desi girl’ gone international, Priyanka Chopra has been a hot topic for quite a few days now. Her hard work has earned her a place in the hearts of not only Indian but International audiences as well. She already is a known face in India, but with her show ‘Quantico’, she became known internationally. The actress has also managed to prove her mettle in Hollywood and has established a singing career as well. A woman who can do so much is definitely commendable.
But according to Priyanka Chopra, she still has a lot to do. Not that she isn’t proud of what she has achieved, but she believes there’s a long road ahead.
Priyanka Chopra recently wrapped up the final season of her show ‘Quantico’. Bidding farewell to the show, the actress posted an emotional message to her social media account. Check it out here:

As the series ends, I am saying goodbye to Alex Parrish. As you’ll see, her story will come full circle…and that is the best feeling as an actor. Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open for female talent and women of color to play leading ladies. Thank you for opening your homes and hearts to me every week! Thank you to the cast and crew of #Quantico for being such an amazing team to work with, for all the memories that I will cherish…memories of laughter, of learning new things, of making friends for life. It was a pleasure working with each and every one of you, and I look forward to crossing paths again! Thank you @joshsafran @abcnetwork @mseitzman @disney and everyone who worked on the show
The actress was recently in the Indian capital for some event when she got talking to IANS. During this interview, the 36-year-old actress revealed her next big dream. And apparently, the actress wants to play a man. This is what she reportedly told IANS:

“It’s my dream to be able to play a man… That’s the next thing I want to do.”
However, according to the actress, Alex Parrish from ‘Quantico’ brought her closer to playing a man and turning the tables. This is what she reportedly said:
“Alex to me is an unapologetic modern female who lives life on her terms. She is extremely flawed, she’s not perfect, she’s a loner, she doesn’t like people, and she only uses people… So, she’s basically playing a man, which is awesome, because girls don’t get to play that… And I was like yes, we get to turn the tables.”
We have to give Priyanka Chopra credit for breaking the barrier for all South Asian actors. And she wears this batch proudly. This is what the actress said when sharing her experience of being the first Indian to headline an international show:
“I am playing characters which have nothing to do with my ethnicity and I feel it will open the door for Indian talent or South Asian talent to become mainstream… Why do we play the sidekicks? I want to play the leading lady and I am not going to compromise on it.”
Not just this, the actress also wishes to feature in a play on Broadway someday. And we are nothing but praises for the Indian International star Priyanka Chopra!
