Chinese President Xi Jinping receives Rs.13 lakhs as an annual salary.
US President Donald Trump draws an annual salary of Rs.2,57,42,000. His salary per day comes to around Rs.70,000.
Russian President Vladimir Putin earns Rs.88 lakhs per year. His monthly salary is about Rs.7 lakhs.
While these are some of the highly paid Presidents in the world, take a look at few of the lowest paid world leaders:
President of Uruguay Jose Mujica earns a humble Rs.9,61,000 as an annual compensation, only slightly more than his Pakistani counterpart.
The President of Senegal, Macky Sall, earned Rs.10,00,159 as annual salary.
However, he declared assets of over Rs.200 crores including a 300 sqm apartment in Texas, USA and a villa worth about Euro 500,000 in Italy. Sall has been incredibly quiet on this issue while people are pondering over how he made so much of money to buy such lush properties.
Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ali makes a meagre Rs.10,51,464 per year.
He came into the power following the Jasmine revolution and has been the country’s President since then.
It must be noted that all the Presidents have several other perks and privileges apart from the monetary compensation that they receive.
