Kings XI Punjab have disappointed their fans for a long time now. The IPL team co-owned by Pritey Zinta has till date never won any IPL title and have finished as the second last team on the points table with 12 points from 14 games. The team exited the tournament after receiving a five-wicket defeat against MSingh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings on May 20, at the final group stage match of the tournament.

However, as expected from any co-owner, Preity Zinta didn’t show any inch of distress because she had other reasons to be happy. She wasn’t concerned about her team’s dismissal, but was revering in the loss of Mumbai Indians qualifying for the finals as well. After all, Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in IPL till date.

Kings XI did not qualify but in a video shared on Twitter by a user called @jogtweets, Preity Zinta can be seen talking to a co-team member and it seems she’s mocking Mumbai Indians for their loss. Watch the video here:

As per some lip-reading experts, she’s seems to have said, “I am just very happy that Mumbai is not going to the final.I’m happy”. Rather than being concerned that her team failed to make it to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 play-offs, Preity looks gleeful in making herself comfortable in the fact that her rivals didn’t qualify too.

Zinta’s lip movement led to alot of reactions and Twitter users were quick to share it between themselves.

Tweeple were quick to decipher their take on Preity’s lip reading and started reacting:

After this moment was caught on camera, Preity came out in support of other teams who qualified and wished them on Twitter. She even promised that her team will come back stronger next year.

On May 20, KXIP needed to beat CSK by a margin of at least 53 runs or chase down the target by 13.4 overs to qualify for the playoff, which they never did. While Punjab’s chances of making it to the next stage were crushed, it was good to see the spirit of its owners.
