Prashant Bhushan Calls Lord Krishna ‘Eve-Teaser’, Faces Fury Of Twitterati

Hindus are among the most tolerant lot and, perhaps, this is why a section of the socialist-liberal-secular-intellectual brigade of this country finds it very easy to make fun of Hinduism and Hindu gods.


Rabid Leftists from the Left-groups in colleges, universities or political spheres often insult Hinduism and, subsequently, India. Given the fact that Leftists in India and abroad are sleeping in bed with the Islamists, it is expected of them to make anti-national and anti-Hindu remarks.


What is shocking is when the kind of statements made by Leftist radicals come from the mouths of those who the society sees as well-educated individuals. This is why lawyer and politician Prashant Bhushan’s remark on Lord Krishna is making headlines.


Reacting to a comment on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s anti-Romeo squad, Bhushan tweeted:


Bhushan’s tweet was in response to and in support of the tweet posted by Anupam, the spokesperson of Yogendra Yadav’s new political party Swaraj India.

Twitterati, expectedly, took offence:

BJP Delhi spokesperson Tejinder Bagga filed a police complaint against Bhushan under IPC sections 153(a) and 295 at the Tilak Marg police station.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reprimanded Bhushan for the remark.

“Bhushan should first study India’s tradition and mythology and then make such comments,”  BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav was quoted as saying.

Following the anger over his comment, Bhushan tried to defend himself with the following tweets:
