National award winning actor and the ‘Villain’ of Bollywood Prakash Raj has become talk of the town yet again and not for the right reasons exactly. The South Indian superstar has been a villain of many Bollywood blockbusters like ‘Singham’ and ‘Wanted’. Not only films, the actor has been in the forefront of political discussions giving his perspectives against the existing PM Modi government.
The actor turned political leader is very well known for his out-spoken nature and now he has targeted Bollywood celebrity Amitabh Bachchan. The ‘Baghban’ actor has kept his silence for a long time in the Kathua gang rape case unlike some of the biggest Bollywood names who have come ahead in all possible ways to stand for the cause.
This time, the actor is in the news not for criticizing the prime minister, but for foul mouthing the legendary Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. His statements against the actor will definitely shock you to the very core.
In an interview to leading media organisation, the South Indian actor has questioned and then criticized Big B over the brutal gang-rape and murder case of an 8-year-old girl in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
In his statement, Raj said:
“I wanted Mr. Amitabh Bachchan to say that ‘stop this’. I feel that as artists we are also responsible towards our society. When artists become coward, we will become the reason for the society to become coward.”
Later during the interview when Prakash Raj was asked if he was considering Amitabh Bachchan as a coward he replied by saying, “I think so.”
“What have I got to gain? I respect him for what he is but I am requesting him to ‘please join hand, it has become important now.’ You are not talking against a party. You are talking against an issue, a thought process, which is important for the welfare of this country.”
YES! Actor Prakash Raj regarded Amitabh Bachchan as a ‘coward’.
Later talking to the journalist, Raj said:
“I requested him. It’s my right. He’s got a wonderful voice. I wanted him to speak up. He just said, ‘I don’t want to speak about it.’ But sir, it’s so dirty that you have to speak up, because Kathua rape to me is not that somebody belonging to a religion didn’t do it. The reason it was done was to threaten a group of people in order to make them leave that place. And just because they are from your party, you will go and stand by them. Protest for them. For me, this is definitely not done”.
Although, we are waiting for superstar Big B to respond to the allegations by Prakash Raj.
